As our new Business Development Manager, you will be working directly with Amihan Internal and Sales Team. You’ll be instrumental in driving our growth by acquiring new clients who need contract IT talent, managing client staffing needs, and ensuring the seamless delivery of our services.
Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and close clients needing contract IT staff, dedicated developers, or offshore teams.
- Sell staff augmentation solutions (short/long-term placements, dedicated teams, contract developers).
- Build relationships with CTOs, hiring managers, HR, procurement, and talent acquisition leaders.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and SLAs for staffing engagements.
- Understand client workforce needs and propose the right developer resources.
- Work with internal recruiters to match candidates and manage the full staffing cycle — from requirements to onboarding and account management.
- Own the sales process: lead generation, discovery, proposals, negotiation, and client handover.
- Track pipeline and activities using Apollo.io, CRM, and sales tools.
- Act as the primary contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction, issue resolution, and opportunities to upsell or extend contracts.
- Stay updated on IT staffing trends, talent supply in the Philippines, and global offshore demand.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 3+ years’ experience in business development or account management in IT staffing, staff augmentation, or outsourcing.
- Strong understanding of the IT industry and software development processes.
- Proven track record in selling contract staffing/offshore teams, prospecting, and closing deals.
- Proven success in cold calling, prospecting, and closing deals.
- Strong network and experience engaging with international clients (Europe, UK, AU, Singapore preferred).
- Fluent in German and English (written and spoken); excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to collaborate with internal recruiters, HR, and delivery teams.
- Skilled in pipeline management, CRM tools (Apollo.io a plus), and meeting sales targets.
- Self-driven, motivated, and working with limited supervision
