As our new AI Developer specializing in OCR Technologies, you will play a key role in building intelligent document-processing solutions that power critical business operations. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to design and deploy high-impact AI systems that extract, interpret, and classify data from diverse document types—driving accuracy, efficiency, and smarter decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop, train, and optimize OCR models capable of accurately recognizing text from a variety of document formats (PDFs, scans, images).
• Build AI-driven pipelines that convert unstructured documents into accurate structured data.
• Integrate OCR systems with internal platforms, APIs, and workflow automation tools.
• Evaluate and improve model accuracy through testing, tuning, and error-analysis.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to design scalable, high-performance AI solutions.
• Maintain clear documentation for models, processes, and deployment workflows.
• Monitor model performance and implement continuous improvements over time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in AI/ML development or similar role.
• Proven hands-on experience with OCR technologies (e.g., Tesseract, AWS Textract, Google Vision, Azure Form Recognizer).
• Strong proficiency in Python and common ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV).
• Experience building and deploying AI models in production environments.
• Solid understanding of API development and containerized environments (Docker).
• Familiarity with NLP, document classification, and data extraction techniques.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and an analytical, detail-oriented mindset.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with workflow automation tools or RPA platforms.
• Background in financial services, lending, or any document-heavy industry.
• Knowledge of cloud services (GCP, AWS, Azure) for model deployment.
• Understanding of vector databases or embedding-based retrieval (plus but not required).
• Ability to collaborate well with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
