Be part of the leading data center in Switzerland. We are seeking a skilled Data Modeler with a strong business and technical background. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, implementing and documenting data architecture and data modeling solutions. Knowledge of data governance practices would be beneficial.

Your Role & Responsibility

  • Design and establish standards for an enterprise data model.
  • Develop data strategy and governance processes.
  • Create and maintain a company data catalog.
  • Guide business in formulating data requirements based on the data strategy.
  • Be part of the implementation of data models (including normalization and indexing) and data transformations.
  • Document Data Models, Data Transformations, and Data Analytics processes.
  • Follow best practices and standards for data governance and security.
  • Leverage tools like DBT, GitHub, SQL, and Python for ETL and data modeling.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer/data science or relevant experience.
  • Experience with enterprise data models.
  • Experience with data warehouses and enterprise data platforms in multi-source contexts.
  • Advanced understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and reporting concepts (DBT experience preferred).
  • Good knowledge of metadata management and related tools.
  • Effective software development life cycle management skills.
  • Experience with version control technologies (GitHub).
  • Knowledge of SQL, Python, and data transformation tools (preferred DBT).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with business and IT teams.
