For a Fintech client in Europe, we are seeking a skilled Accounting and Bookkeeping Officer to join the Revenue team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing key accounting functions, ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards, and maintaining the accuracy and timeliness of revenue-related activities.

Your Role & Responsibility

  • Record monthly financial transactions
  • Prepare and maintain Financial Statements
  • Submit comprehensive Financial Reports every 20th of the month, covering the previous month’s closing
  • File taxes in accordance with Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) requirements (monthly, quarterly, and yearly)
  • Ensure proper usage of the accounting tool Xero for recording and reporting purposes

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant working experience
  • Proficiency in using Xero accounting software is required
  • Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance with BIR requirements
  • Experience working in a Revenue or Finance Department
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and other accounting tools
  • Proven ability to work independently or with minimal supervision
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
  • Good communication skills working in an international environment
  • Self-driven, motivated, and working with limited supervision
