For a FinTech and RegTech client, we are looking for a skilled Senior Java Developer for a 6-month contract with strong technical experience and good communication skills. You will work with international teams and be exposed to modern technologies used in banking and finance, including microservices, cloud computing, machine learning, and AI.
Responsibilities
- Building & maintaining server-side as well as front-end features
- Working closely with frontend & backend engineers
- Collaborating in code review process
- Taking ownership over parts of an application and collaborating on global issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Good knowledge of Java, SQL & Spring Framework
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL database
- Experience in GIT
- Knowledge of Design Patterns
- Working in cross-discipline Agile team
- Understanding of agile engineering practices (CI/CD, Code Review, TDD, Continuous Improvement)
- Good communication skills working in an international environment
- Self-driven, motivated, and working with limited supervision
Nice To Have
- Knowledge of Mybatis
- Experience in DevOps – AWS/Terraform
- Experience in JavaScript/TypeScript/React/Angular
- Knowledge of Atlassian JIRA
