As our new SAP S/4HANA Data Migration Manager, you will lead end-to-end data migration across SAP transformation programs. You will use your expertise in SAP S/4HANA, SAP BODS, and SAP Information Steward to ensure data quality, governance, and successful migration while working closely with business, functional, and technical teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end SAP S/4HANA data migration across multiple business streams, from strategy and planning through data profiling, cleansing, transformation, validation, mock loads, dress rehearsals, and production cutover.
- Define and manage the data migration strategy, roadmap, governance framework, execution approach, risks, dependencies, and status reporting.
- Coordinate with Business Process Owners, Data Owners, Functional Leads, Technical Architects, Program Management, and Data Migration teams to ensure alignment throughout the migration.
- Facilitate workshops to define migration requirements, data quality standards, source-to-target mappings, transformation rules, and reconciliation criteria.
- Architect and oversee SAP BODS ETL solutions, including technical designs, mappings, development standards, and reusable migration frameworks.
- Lead SAP Information Steward activities for data profiling, data quality monitoring, scorecards, governance reporting, and data cleansing.
- Oversee the extraction, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and loading of data from SAP and non-SAP source systems.
- Manage migration activities using SAP BODS, SAP Migration Cockpit, LTMC, LSMW, IDOCs, BAPIs, and file-based interfaces.
- Ensure migration deliverables meet required data quality, compliance, reconciliation, and audit standards.
- Strong functional understanding and data migration experience across SAP business processes including P2P (Procure-to-Pay), L2C (Lead-to-Cash), P2X (Plan-to-Execute), R2R (Record-to-Report), S2C (Source-to-Contract), QUM (Quality Management), and I2O (Inventory-to-Operate).
- Must have strong SAP S/4HANA data migration leadership, SAP BODS, SAP Information Steward, stakeholder management, and cross-functional team coordination experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10+ years of SAP Data Migration experience, including proven experience leading SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration programs.
- Extensive experience with SAP Business Objects Data Services (BODS) and hands-on experience with SAP Information Steward.
- Strong knowledge of SAP Migration Cockpit, LTMC, LSMW, IDOCs, BAPIs, and ETL processes.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams across business, functional, and technical workstreams.
- Strong stakeholder management, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Data Governance and Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives is preferred.
- Experience working on large-scale global SAP transformation programs, including S/4HANA Greenfield and Brownfield implementations.
- Experience with multi-country rollouts and template deployment projects is an advantage.
- SAP BODS certification is preferred.
- PMP, Agile, or similar project management certification is an advantage.
